Kingfield and East Harriet Neighborhoods

A few weeks ago, when the weather was still warm, I decided to take photos within a one mile radius of my home.  It was fun exploring a part of the city that I know well and discovering new things through the lens of my camera. 

Five Lakes Resort

Last weekend I was lucky to enjoy a cabin stay with family at Five Lakes Resort (near Detroit Lakes, MN).  I was awakened early Saturday morning by a gorgeous sunrise coming over the lake.  Typically I am not an early riser but I couldn't resist getting outside and taking a few photos (and then going back to bed of course)!

What a perfect summer evening for photos!  Leah was a great sport running and playing barefeet - in the sand, in the grass and even in the water.

A few days after Ronan turned one month old I had the opportunity to take his photos - what a little trooper he was (he kept smiling and sleeping even though we made him change locations, blankets, etc).  Can't wait for future photo shoots and seeing him grow up!

San Antonio in Spring

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to escape the Minnesota winter weather by spending a week in San Antonio.  The weather was warm, reaching the mid-eighties in the afternoons - perfect weather for being out taking photos; exploring the sites and architecture from past eras.

 

 

End of Winter...I hope!

Following are a few photos from a recent winter family outing.  I enjoyed taking these snowy photos, but since it's technically already spring I'm ready for some warmer weather.

I was so busy at the end of the last summer that I never got a chance to post this set and on this cold winter day, I needed a reminder of warmer (though windy) times!  I'm already looking forward to our photo shoot planned for next summer.
